PERFMON MONTORING TOOL

To Import the PerfMon Template:

1. Open Performance Monitor

2. Right Click on the User Defined and click ‘New Data Collector Set’

1. Enter any name in the Name field:

1. Click Next:

1. Click Browse and Browse and open to the location of the Template.

1. Click Finish

To modify the directory where the blg file will be saved:

1. Under User Defined, right click on the template you will be using.

2. Select Properties

3. On the Directory tab, change the Root directory to the intended location.

Before running the collector close all instances of IE.Then click the run button.

After logging out of Empower and closing the browser click the Stop button

1. Open IE

2. Click Shift + F3

3. Click the Record button

1. Access Empower LOS

2. Run through Use Case

3. Log out of Empower. While the Log Off screen is still displayed, Save the HTTPWatch capture (.hwl file)

Steps when using both Perfmon and HTTPWatch:

1. Close all instances of IE then start PerfMon

2. Open IE

3. Click Shirft+F3

4. Click Record button

5. Run through Use case

6. Log out

7. While on Log Off screen, save HttpWatch Capture

8. Close IE

9. Stop PerfMon counter

10. Send files
